The first step will be the home match with Doprastav coming up on Wednesday at the CU Arena. Aurubis and Doprastav somehow crossed their ways in a pre-season tournament held last September in Potsdam though they did not play each other there. Doprastav was eventually able to place higher in the final standing of the tournament than their upcoming German opponents. Aurubis wants to win the home match to get the right edge for the return scheduled for November 26 in Slovakia’s capital city. They also want to forget the very bad start of their campaign in the Bundesliga and get back the necessary self-confidence so as to start performing better also in their domestic championship.
