GER M: BR Volleys Defeat VfB Friedrichshafen 3-1 in Game 1 of Bundesliga Playoff Finals

In the first game of the Bundesliga Playoff Finals, Berlin Recycling Volleys secured a 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 28-30, 25-19) victory over VfB Friedrichshafen.

The match was held in front of 6,892 spectators at the Max-Schmeling-Halle. Johannes Tille was named the MVP of the game. The second game is scheduled for Thursday evening, May 4th at Lake Constance (Bodensee-Airport Arena), and the third match will be on Saturday, May 6th. Scheduled for May 11th is the potential fourth match, and if it takes place, the fifth match is scheduled for May 14th. The final series is played in a best-of-five format. In terms of scoring, Marek Sotola from BR Volleys secured the top spot in the match with 22 points, whereas Michal Superlak led VfB Friedrichshafen’s scorecard with 19 points.
