However, this feat was achieved by the only 19-year old Annalena Mach, a member of the Grand Duchy’s national team who starting from the 2014/2015 season will be playing in Germany for VC WIESBADEN.
Shortly after graduating from high-school, Mach has travelled to Germany to start training with some of her future teammates. Though she already had joined a couple of practices last year, this move is a big step in the career of the 19-year old receiver:
“Of course for such young player like I am it won’t be always that easy in an accomplished and strong team like VC WIESBADEN, but this is definitely a source of real joy and a boost that will motivate me work hard for myself and for the team as well,” she says.
