Everyone is still waiting for the official decision of the FIVB regarding the case of Alexander Markin who was tested positive on illegal substances. There are rumors that the FIVB can even disqualify Russia from the Olympic Games 2016, which would mean that France would go to Rio, while Germany would get a spot in the World Olympic Qualifier.
In the interview for sportowefakty.wp.pl, German international Lukas Kampa stated that he can only wait for the official decision of the FIVB.
“In general I do not think about it, because there is nothing I can do. I can only wait for the final decision of the FIVB. I remember that the FIVB has a slogan that goes ‘Play Clean’… We will see if their officials think the same way…”
