Interesting, the leaders Allianz MTV Stuttgart suffered defeat in the last match from SC Schweriner after five sets (23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 15-12) but they stayed in the top position.
In the quarterfinals, they will play against the eighth-ranked team Rote Raben Vilsbiburg who lost the last three matches.
The second-ranked Dresdner SC will face SC Potsdam who are in the good mood. They scored three consecutive wins, same as their opponents in the quarterfinals.
SC Schweriner finished the regular season in the third place and in the next stage they will fight with Munster for the spot in the best four teams of Bundesliga.
VS Wiesbaden and Ladies in Black Aachen are on the 4th and 5th place with the 35 points from the regular season and they will play against each other in the quarterfinals.
The first matches will be on the program on March 17 while the second matches on March 24. If the third matches are required, the decision will be made on Wednesday, March 28.
