League Cup – checked! Greek Cup – checked! Greek Championship… Olympiacos have won the first place in the regular season and will have a home court advantage throughout the Playoffs. This season has been very good so far for the red and whites and for their head coach Roberto Piazza.
The Italian coach arrived in Piraeus last summer, when he signed a one-year contract. Still, he does not hide a desire to stay in the club after the summer…
“Naturally, I want to stay, but I still need to speak with the president after the season. I have no offers from Italy and I think there won’t be any in the future, for many reasons. I will probably have some proposals from Russia and Poland, but not from Italy. Still, I do not like to leave a team after only one year. I want to continue with my job in Olympiacos” said Piazza in the interview for Greek media.
