ITA W: Rahimova in the spotlight again, Pomi & Scandicci victorious

The Italian Women’s volleyball Serie A1 has continued today with five matches of round four!

Pomi Casalmaggiore have scored the third victory in the league beating Cuneo in four sets. The Azerbaijani star Polina Rahimova was again in the spotlight as she scored the highest number of points -20! On the other side, Lise van Hecke had 16 points.

Scandicci have also scored the third win in the league. They have downed Club Italian in straight sets 25-19, 25-12, 25-21.

Isabelle Haak led Scandicci with 12 points, but it was not the best scoring display of the game. On the other side, Sylvia Nwakalor scored 15.

Women’s Serie A1, round 4:

Bergamo – Firenze 1-3 (26-24, 11-25, 19-25, 23-25)

Pomi – Cuneo 3-1 (25-18, 17-25, 25-16, 25-18)

Filottrano – Brescia 1-3 (22-25, 25-23, 23-25, 19-25)

Monza – Chieri 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-21)

Scandicci – Club Italia 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-21)
