Imoco
For the second year in a row, third overall, Imoco Volley Conegliano won the Italian Super Cup. In the match that was held in Milan, they ran over European champions Igor Gorgonzola Novara in straight sets, partially 25-20, 25-17 and 25-21. These to have met in the Supercoppa Italiana for the third successive time and now, Imoco have won the first trophy in the season.
Paola Egonu was amazing, without mercy on her former teammates. She put down 26 points and was deservingly named MVP of the match.
