Perugia wrote down the 15th victory in a row (including all competition)! The team coached by Vital Heynen was deprived of the help from Serbian middle blocker Podraščanin (who returned to Perugia in the morning because he became a dad for the second time) but didn’t allow Milano, who had 7 successive wins in the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season, to take at least one set. Perugia still hold 2nd place in the charts with only 3 points less than Cucine Lube Civitanova (39) but with one more match played than the club world champions. Cuba-Polish outside hitter Wilfredo León was the top scorer for the winning side with 19 points. The Dutchman Nimir Abdel-Aziz tallied 20 points for Milano.
Leo Shoes Modena defeated Consar Ravenna for the 2nd time in only 4 days, (3-0 in Italian Cup) to come in 3rd in the standings with 37 points.
