ITA W: Novara note 10th successive win and keep breathing down Imoco’s neck

Igor Gorgonzola Novara continued their huge winning streak in the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship, which consists of seven games (10 games counting all competitions).

Igor Gorgonzola Novara achieved a 3-1 (25-19, 25-12, 22-25, 27-25) win over VBC èpiù Casalmaggiore in Round 21 of the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season. Novara did it after making a comeback in the first set from 7-12 to 25-19. Thus, they collected 40 points and came to -5 in relation to the leaders Imoco Volley Conegliano.

The Pole Malwina Smarzek highlighted Novara with 24 points, including 5 blocks. Caterina Bosetti had 74 % reception (37 % perfect; 19 digs, 2 errors).
