Perugia – Ravenna

SIR SAFETY PERUGIA – CMC RAVENNA 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-12)

Simone Buti (Sir Safety Perugia): “Ravenna is a good team, this game was tricky. But we had a great performance, when we play like that  at home it becomes very tough for anyone. It was important to grab a victory to prepare ourselves for Saturday. The Italian Cup final four? The semi-final is already a final for us. We will play with determination, we’ll give everything we have and just see what happens”.

Stefano Mengozzi (CMC Ravenna): “Perugia got off to a great start on the serve, both with jump and float serve. They played at a high rhythm and physically dominated us at the net. We lost confidence, and in the third set I don’t know what happened. They deserved to win, while we might have paid the price for the many games played in just a few days. We must not put our heads down, we have to immediately focus on the next one”.
