The coronavirus postponed many games not only in volleyball but in other sports so it’s difficult these days to organize matches.
That was the case with Italy, where Piacenza – Lube and Trentino – Vibo clashes had to be postponed.
However, Perugia didn’t have any difficulties hosting Verona at PalaBarton arena. They managed to beat Verona 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-18) and to finish 2021 in a victorious way.
Oleh Plotnytskyi was the top scorer with 18 points, while Wilfredo Leon added 15 and Thijs Ter Host with 14. On the other side, Anton Qafarena had 14 points.
Perugia is on top of the standings with a 13-1 score.
