Everyone in the club will miss Petrić, but one player especially. Aleksandar Atanasijević tried everything to persuade his teammate to stay. He did not succeed, but nevertheless he wanted to thank his friend for everything in the past year.
“After three years Nemanja left Perugia… Not because he was not happy, but because it was time for a change. He gave everything for Perugia, lived 24 hours a day for the club, never gave up and even played when he was injured. He deserves the biggest applause and respect. From all of us – Nemanja, thank you for everything. We wait you in Perugia to show how much we love you” wrote Atanasijević on his Twitter account.
