“Regarding the news about changes in the staff of the Men’s National Team, it should be clear that any decision on this matter will follow directions of the head coach Mauro Berruto, who has full support of the Italian Volleyball Federation.”
The announcement is short, and does not reveal anything, but it confirms that something is happening inside the Men’s National Team. Recall that Italian media have recently speculated about Ferdinando De Giorgi becoming the assistant coach of Berruto, but also about some changes in the roster of the National Team.

Why even change the current second coach? What can Ferdinando bring and do better as a second coach that the current one cannot do? Or is it just a decoration and the same form will remain the same???
