Monza battles to stay in Serie A1. Currently it holds 10th place in the standings with only two wins out of 13 matches and recently lost one of its main players, the French Guillaume Quesque.
“We needed someone to complete the roster and we wanted an experienced player who would give us a concrete help until the end of the season. Still, we will remain to focus on our children which so far have given us a lot of satisfaction”, says Monza’s sporting director Claudio Bonati.
Out of major Russian clubs, Maxim Botin (31) has also played for Dinamo Moscow.
