The problem with Gennari’s knee required a specialist who decided an immediate surgery after the initial checks.
Arthroscopy has solved every problem and Gennari will need a lot of time to recover, but might return to the Italian national team in top shape already for the European Championships, in late September.
Also, there’s no risk for the beginning of her adventure in the jersey of Foppapedretti Bergamo in the next season.
