Tomorrwo night, two very experienced teams, Italy’s Cucine Lube Banca Marche CIVITANOVA and Belgium’s Knack ROESELARE, will be crossing their ways for the seventh time in a European competition, this time around in the opening round of the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men.
“It’s the first time I am joining this competition, but I understood since a long time what the Champions League is, and what it represents for a Volleyball player. So I’m very excited for this new challenge, and of course I hope we will score a clean victory, for the fans and also for us players in order to start this campaign as well as we can. Knack ROSELARE is a very strong team, the same as BELCHATOW, whose strength is well-known to everyone. This means that every point can make the difference for the qualification to the next round, so we can never make mistakes, even more in the home matches,” says Lube’s setter Micah Christenson.
