CEV decided to qualify the first four teams from the last European League (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia, Netherlands), in addition to Poland which has a FIVB wild card every year.

This leaves out, and doesn’t even give a chance to qualify Italy, Germany, Russia and Turkey (which played with their B team in the European League), and which are 4th, 6th, 8th and 9th in the FIVB world ranking. Germany‘s coach Giovanni Guidetti released the news on twitter.
