The crowd in Civitanova has obviously managed to provoke Earvin Ngapeth, so he decided to answer back. After winning a point he showed to someone that he “speaks a lot” and that gesture has not passed unnoticed.
Some of Lube fans got really angry, so security guards had to calm them down, while even the main referee gave a warning to Ngapeth for his behavior. Eventually, it has all ended peacefully, but the crowd in Civitanova made sure to whistle every time the Frenchman came to the service line.
Modena won the match against Lube after a tie-break.
