We all know how strong spike Aleksandar Atanasijević have, while Taylor Sander has now felt it on his skin… According to reports from the Italian media, the game between Verona and Perugia had to be interrupted in the tie-break, because of a fierce headshot!
Italians write that Aleksandar Atanasijević accidentally spiked the ball right into the head of Taylor Sander, so medical team had to immobilize the neck of American player! He was transferred to hospital immediately.
The good news are that Sander was immediately released from hospital, as exams showed there is no serious injury.
