Interesting news is coming from Italy!

Serie A1

Serie A1

As famous Italian volleyball journalist Gian Luca Pasini wrote in his blog on gazzetta.it, despite the fact that the season has started only month and a half ago, Serie A1 has already opened the discussion to reduce the number of teams for next season by three.

Allegedly, this caused a fierce debate between the clubs in Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship especially because league authorities decided to enlarge the competition from 12 to 14 clubs for this season, a few months ago. Now, they want to reduce it from 14 to 11.
