After being sacked by Italian Sir Safety Conad Perugia in mid-season of 2015/2016, Castellani made a five-month break before signing for Belgian side Maaseik. With them, the Argentine expert took national Supercup, silver medal in the national Cup and won Regular Season in the national championship (EuroMillions Volley League). And which is more important, Castellani still has a chance to win the national league since his team holds leadership in Top 6.
All these results in Belgium recommended him to European top clubs, especially to Cucine Lube Civitanova, as Gian Luca Pasini revealed! A team from Italian Championship (Lega Pallavolo Serie A UnipolSai) is looking for a replacement of Gianlorezo Blengini, who will continue his work with the Italian Men’s National Team.
Lube prepared one-year contract for Castellani and now wait for his reply…

I believe that Castellani still has a valid contract with Maaseik for another year.
