This time we will start with the women’s game. IBK Altos celebrated a win in a tie-break against Pink Spiders. The opponent team led 2-1 in sets but the last two sets belonged to the host team thanks to American receiver Madison Kingdon Richel who scored 24 points. Her countryman Taylor Simpson scored 48 points but that wasn’t enough for Spiders, to make a turnaround.
In the men’s match, Hyundai defeated KAL Jumbos 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 33-31), the newcomer Andreas Fragkos led the team with 23 points while the Slovenian opposite Mitja Gašparini from Jambos was the top scorer of the match with 26 points.
