Ten rounds before the end of the regular season in the V-League, the defending champions Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers have an 8-point lead in the standings compared to the second-placed Daejeon Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Bluefangs as they both have an 18-8 record.
Today, the Skywalkers have defeated Suwon Korea Electric Power Corporation Vixtorm in straight-sets, partially 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 with 17 points from Moon Sung-Min. The Brazilian Felipe Banderó scored 15 points for Vixtorm who are fourth-placed and will have to work hard to punch the playoff ticket (the second-placed and third-placed sides will advance to the playoff semifinals, while No.1 earns an automatic berth to the finals).
