The USA will play for their 7th gold medal in the Pan-American Cup after beating Colombia 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-15) in the semifinals. So far, the North American side did not suffer a single defeat in the tournament (4-0 in the pool stage plus the win in the semifinals), dropping only one set on their way. Madison Kingdon-Rishel, Hannah Tapp, and Kadie Rolfzen scored 13 points apiece for the USA. Margarita Martínez noted 8 for Colombia.
The Dominican Republic, who won most medals in the 17-year Pan-American Cup history (16) also progressed to the final in which they will fight for their 5th title. The Dominicans beat their Caribbean rivals Puerto Rico in 4 sets thanks to 25 points from Brayelin Martínez. Paulina Prieto shined for Puerto Rico with 30 points.
