Athletes Unlimited announced that the inaugural season of the US Women’s Pro League will take place at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas from February 27 to March 29. This venue and city have replaced the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, which was initially set as the place for the event.

This change was made as the Municipal Auditorium became unavailable for use due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Athletes Unlimited explained that it has chosen Fair Park Coliseum as the home for its women’s volleyball league because of several factors but most importantly because of its campus size and completion of the multi-million-dollar renovation of the venue. So, the Pro League will be the first event to be hosted in the Coliseum after the renovation.

Athletes Unlimited stressed that matches of the competition will not be played in front of fans to comply with the guidelines of the State and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
