In Pool A, Ahly Tripoli (LBA) overcame FAP (CMR) in a thrilling tiebreaker 3:2 (25:21, 19:25, 20:25, 25:20, 15:12) to win first place in the pool but both teams got their qualification tickets to the quarterfinal.
In Pool B, Sfax (TUN) continued its winning rhythm and beat Borj Bou Arririj (ALG) 3:0 (25:22, 25:17, 25:20). Ahly Benghazi (LBA) joined Sfax in the quarters after hammering Muzinga (BDI) 3:0 (25:17, 25:15, 25:14).
In Pool C, Esperance (TUN) flew past Muger Cement (ETH) 3:0 (25:14, 25:14, 25:12) to lead the pool with win-loss ratio 3-0 followed by Swehli (LIB) 2-1.
In Pool D, Prisons (KEN) finished also with a clean sheet after they trounced AUC (CIV) 3:0 (25:18, 26:24, 25:15). They will be accompanied by Autoridade Tributaria (MOZ) who became yesterday the first team from Mozambique to secure quarterfinal ticket.
