The seminar was chaired by Secretary General Leonard Tase and former international referee Dhimiter Sallata, with Altin Telo and Rudina Omari – two of Albania’s referees currently officiating international matches – being also in attendance.

All participants were first introduced to the latest updates in the Volleyball rules and afterwards they joined a written examination. The seminar was extremely important as it was attended also by many newcomers who have just started getting involved in the sport. A practical test followed as the referees attended some matches of youth teams currently monitored by the Albanian Volleyball Federation. The “Youth Cup” drew much attention from the local Volleyball family with the final winners being the teams of Farka Volley (men) and Divjaka (girls). The tournament was dedicated to the memory of two former international referees, Andrea Xhori and Koco Gjoka, who had passed away last year.
