Stefano Lavarini definitely left the post of the South Korea Women’s Volleyball National Team head coach.
The Korean Volleyball Association (KVA) has been negotiating a contract renewal with Italian expert Lavarini after the semifinals of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but a head coach for the past three years was not interested and expressed his desire to work only in Europe for personal and professional reasons. Due to this, KVA turned to his replacement and found it in its own yard.
César Hernández was appointed as the new Korea National Team head coach. The 44-year-old Spaniard was Lavarini’s assistant in the previous period and is also performing the role of an assistant to Giovanni Guidetti in Turkey’s VakıfBank.
