UKRAINIAN CUP W: Prometey win gold for second time in history

For the second year in a row, SK Prometey won the Ukrainian Women’s Volleyball Cup.

Beating Khimik in the final of the 2022 Ukrainian Women’s Cup in Slobozhanske, SK Prometey took the title in the competition for the second time in history and the second time in a row. The rising force of Eastern European women’s volleyball, existing for only 3 years, imposed terrible dominance over the most successful club in Ukraine since the country’s independence in the decider: 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-19).

Cuban Heidy Casanova was the best scorer for Prometey in the match with 14 points. Her teammate Bogdana Anisova was named MVP.
