The elected players are: Maja Ognjenovic, Ana Antonijevic (setters), Jovana Brakocevic, Sanja Starovic (opposites), Suzana Cebic (libero), Milena Rasic, Natasa Krsmanovic, Nadja Ninkovic (middle blockers), Brizitka Molnar, Jovana Vesovic, Tijana Malesevic and Jelena Blagojevic (receivers).
“This is the best team that we have and these girls are the most qualified for the competition. We had problems with injuries and some players still have, so until the last moment we did not know who would go to Turkey. It turned out that Jelena Nikolic and Stefana Veljkovic are not able to participate in the tournament because of the serious injuries. However, that does not mean that we will surrender at the start. One thing is certain. We will play like always, match after match and we will see the results. I am sure that the girls will fight and give their best. Taking into account other national teams, it is possible that we will have to play on the level above our capacities,” said Terzic.
