“Slovenia is definitely a more experienced team with players who are a little bit more prepared than us. This is why we lost twice on their ground. I am sure that we only lacked a little bit to have one victory in Slovenia, and before that we missed a second win against Turkey at home. If this had not happened, we would be having more air. Still, we have to be satisfied with the points we won. We are young and inexperienced, but we have the will and ambition to play and the youngsters are hungry for victories. So I am optimistic,” Bulgaria’s head coach Ivan Petkov stated.
Bulgaria will entertain Slovenia at the Hristo Botev volleyball hall in Sofia on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 18:00 local time. Both matches will be streamed live on LAOLA1.tv.
