In the first set China missed a chance to take the lead. They had advantage of five points (19:14) but Bulgarians managed to tie a few moments later (23:23) and with a huge triple block to take the first set!
The second set was uncertain too, but Sokolov & co. didn’t allow rival to take advantage like they did in the first part of the game. Bulgarians took over the control and a mistake from Cui Jianjun gave Konstantinov’s side 2-0 lead.
In the third set, Bulgaria was much better and clinched the game by 25-19.
Todor Skrimov was the top scorer in Bulgaria with 12 points, while on the other side Xin Geng had 13.
