It was an uncertain derby. Argentine girls gave stronger resistance to Croatian girls, who managed to win after all 3-1 (25-17, 26-28, 26-24, 25-19). Samantha Fabris scored 16, Mia Jerkov 14 for Croatia while Paula Yamila Nizetich had 16 on the other side.

Cameroon didn’t give up after the first two sets. Canada entered the third part in relax mode and African side took the opportunity to decrease the score. But, it was a sign for Canadian girls to wake up.

In the fourth, they started to play like in the first two sets and clinched three points – 3-1 (25-12, 25-15, 20-25, 25-14; Kyla Richey 17, Rebecca Pavan 16 – Christelle Tchoudjang Nana 14)
