Guidetti
He will take his regular assistant, the Cuban Gil Ferrer Cutiño. There will also be a Dutch assistant added to the staff to build a bridge to the talents and national league.
Guidetti signed initially for two years, but both, the coach and the Dutch Federation, expressed the intention to work together longer than that.
„For me it’s a great honor to be appointed as the coach of the Dutch team. In the fifteen years that I’ve been active in the international volleyball, I often played against the Dutch. I always had a great respect for this team and I think there’s now a generation that has an enormous talent. Obviously there’s still a lot of work to do, but I seriously think this team is able to play for the medals at the European Championship,“ said Guidetti on presentation.
Joëlle Staps, the general manager of the Dutch Volleyball Federation also stated he was glad this new cooperation with Guidetti.
