The last and most exciting stage of the competition will get underway on Tuesday in Russia before the ‘grand finale’ follows on Saturday night at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk-Sopot.
“We made it to these finals thanks to our good performance in our previous matches and this means that we are going to fight to win this cup for our club,” says PGE Atom Trefl team captain Izabela Belcik. “We are ready to fight but on the other hand we know that Dinamo is a world-class team.”
“PGE Atom Trefl is a difficult opponent and I am sure that it won’t be easy to play them,” says Russian star Tatiana Kosheleva. “There are no weak players and teams once you reach the finals of the CEV Volleyball Cup. We will play the second match away but for professional players as we are this should not have any influence or importance. The thing that really matters is to win in the end.”
