Dear WoV fans, you have outdone yourself in the Round 2 of our Poll! So far, you left 19,636 votes for the male Dream Team and 8,610 for female and they keep on coming! Still, at the midnight, the Round 2 was finished and these are the players that took the last place in all positions and fell off from the competition.

Among the men’s setters, the Argentine De Cecco just couldn’t keep up with Bruninho and the leading duo – Marouf and Drzyzga.

The Bulgarian fans saved the opposite Sokolov and libero Salparov on Sunday and put moved from the last to the second and first place so the Brazilian opposite Wallace and American libero Shoji are out of the competition.

Among other positions, Ngapeth (Receiver 1), Sander (Receiver 2), Holt (Middle Blocker 1), Saatkamp (Middle Blocker 2) also fell off.

Despite that he did not receive a single vote via FB, TW or comments on our website, Birarelli managed to remain in the competition among Middle Blockers 2.

Let’s talk about female players now. You have decided that two Brazilian stars do not deserve to be in WoV Dream TeamFabiola (Setter) and Fe Garay (Receiver 1).  Another country was left without two players in the competition – USA. The opposite Fawcett (lost to Neslihan by only 6 votes!) and libero Davis were both relegated.

It was tough among Receivers 2 where you saved Havelkova in the very finish and moved Costagrande off the competition. The same happened with Middle Blockers 1. Arrighetti fell off in the last moment, while Poljak continues to fight in Round 3.

Among Middle Blockers 2, Ravva (gained least votes in all competitions) had no chance.

Ognjenovic, Fawcett, Werblinska, Bednarek-Kasza, Davis, Ravva did not have even one vote from Social Networks or our website.
