Foluke Akinradewo
Foluke Akinradewo, Stanford University graduate, will strengthen already mighty Volero team which has huge plans in the next season’s Champions League.
The American middle blocker arrived from Azerbaijani Rabita which dropped out from participating in the Champions League and will, most probably, have only domestic players in the season 2015/2016.
Akinradewo spent her entire professional career abroad and won one national title (with her previous club), beside numerous team and individual awards with US national team.
Volero hired three Russian players (Orlova, Kornienko and Podskalnaya), one Turkish (Özdemir) and two American (Vansant and Akinradewo) so far, while Granvorka extended contract.
