France has once again defeated Japan away in straight sets – 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-23)! Antonin Rouzier was the top scorer in the winning side with 13 points, and he was the only player on this game to reach double-digits!
In the other game of the Pool D, South Korea outplayed Czech Republic at home by 3-1 (27:29, 25:18, 25:20, 25:21), so the standings are quite interesting at the moment. France has the perfect score with 4-0 score and 12 points, while Czech Republic, South Korea and Japan all have 4 points.
In Pool C, Bulgaria faced a strong resistance from Cuba, however squad led by Plamen Konstantinov managed to get the whole package on the road – 3-1 (18:25, 25:20, 26:24, 25:23). Danail Milushev scored 18 points for Bulgaria.
Finally, the derby of the day in the World League Group 2 was played in Canada where the home team welcomed Argentina. After a tough battle and five sets Argentina made a valuable break – 3-2 (23:25, 25:22, 21:25, 25:19, 15:10). The standings in Poll C now look like this – Canada is still at the top with 4-2 score and 14 points, Bulgaria is behind with 3-1 and 8 points, then there goes Argentina with 2-2 and 6 points, while Cuba is a the last place with 1-5 score and only 2 points.
