At the very beginning of the match it was obvious that away side will have a tough job against Iran.
The first big lead, Iran made after 12 minutes (15-10). A three minutes later Anderson was blocked by Mousavi while Mirza scored an ace for huge lead of home team (17-10). USA couldn’t do anything.
Iran was playing much better than the rival so they got the four points lead in the second set after Mousavi’s spike (13-9). Again, Speraw’s side was trailing all the time and they have to surrender (25-21).
In the third set, USA didn’t manage to give stronger resistance. From the first TTO, Iran was leading and they kept it until the end of match! Kovač’s side is back!
Shrahram Mahmoudi was the top scorer with 17 points, while Anderson and Aaron Russell had 9 points each.

Up@ You are trying to say: fanatic fans? But it’s good for them. That’s why coming teams are loosing in there. Because of the specific loud atmosphere. In home they can beat everyone but on abroad it’s not that good. We can see. The last 4 group matches will be exciting.
@DAVID: most of the teams like poland, italy, Brazil and etc have good fans and loud atmosphere in their arenas and this is normal thing!
this is an obvious thing that playing at home is easier and for example exactly the same thing is true about team poland. they win home matches because of their fans and that’s obvious that in their away matches they’re not as well as their home matches.
they won the world championship with the same formula!
