Germany won but made some mistakes, while the US had some big trouble, especially with the floating serves of their opponents. The final result of 3-2 guaranteed Bulgaria a spot in the last four. So Poland and Cuba will fight for the first place in their pool and Bulgaria and USA will look to top the rankings in the other.
