Marouf played in Shahrdari Urmia before he moved to Zenit KAZAN last season, but if this is true what will happen with the Italian setter Valerio Vermiglio?
As they said, the signing is expected in the coming days.
Before two days we wrote that Marouf decided – in 2015/2016 he will play in Iran.
Marouf is a member of the Best Team of World League 2015.

Urmia must be crazy to spend a million dollars to sign Marouf , he can’t block, he is too short and can’t serve well, overrated player
just like toniutti!!
@ BLUEREDWHITE, what’s wrong with you? He is the best setter in the world and you and your national team coach and former Zenit coach (Mr fat) know this. You Russians are so jealous of Marouf and when he was playing very good in Zenit, Mr Fat tried to destroy him by replacing him with a very not-talented setter (Kobzar). If Alekno needs a tall setter, why does he buy short players like Toniutti and Marouf? When one of the best coaches in the world (John Speraw) says Marouf is the best and the most complete setter in the world, so you should say nothing! I have a question, will Russia stay in Group A? 😀
Marouf is actually the best setter in passing the ball but let’s be realistic can he he serve like Bruno or Luciano or Christenson and he is too short to block he played almost 20 matches for Zenit and , NO ACE and LESS than 5 blocks in Zenit. and one more thing Do you you who are you calling Mr fat? one of the best coaches in history of volleyball , I’m sure he still can spike and play volleyball better than you ,and about your question it does not matter if Russia stays in the first Division or not ,If you watch volleyball you must know which team won the recent WL , Yes France and they were in second division, being in the second division is not that bad when you have a reliable coach who knows how to handle everything and easy rivals rather than the ones in Pool A
Marouf is a setter and the main duty of him is setting not blocking! He is 189 cm while Toniutti is 183 and these players were the best setter of World Leagues 2014 and 2015! Also Rezende is 190! I’m sure if Marouf was a Russian or Polish or American or Brazilian, he would be chosen as the first setter in the national team. If Marouf serve is not good, why do Russian players have problem for reception of his serves?
