China vs. Serbia
The game between China and Serbia was perhaps the derby match of the first day at the World Cup 2015. It started really well for the Serbian crew as they won the first set by 25:19… However, China managed to tie the score after a thrilling second set – 25:23 and therefore to gain necessary boost for the rest of the match.
Eventually, girls led by Lang Ping won the third set by 25:15 and then closed the game in the fourth set with 25:19 – 3-1.
The player of the game was without any doubt young Ting Zhu who scored 24 points for the winning side.
One more game of the first day is over. Cuba defeated Kenya by 3-1 (27:25, 25:23, 12:25, 25:22) and started the tournament with a win.
