Gert Van Walle and Sam Deroo. These two Belgian players were outstanding today. Van Walle scored 17 points, while Deroo added 14 and they paved the way to success for their team. With this win Belgium has practically secured a ticked for the Playoffs round, while Belarus can already start packing things for a trip back home.
It was a one-sided match. Interesting enough Belgium had the same lead at 1st TTO in all three sets – 8:5, while every time they would just continue to increase the margin. Eventually, they closed the game in just three sets and picked up valuable points.
