“How are you, my friend” – asked me taxi driver after a minute of silence inside the car.
“Fine, thanks! And, you?” – I was trying to be nice. He just said “Ok”…
“Are you first time in Sofia?” – It was the new question by taxi driver and then another one – “Why did you choose to visit Sofia?”
“I come to watch semifinals and finals of the European volleyball championship and to make some reports”
“Really? Who will play there?” continued questioning me taxi driver.
“Bulgaria are one of the teams who will play in semis” – I said.
“No way! Bulgaria? I didn’t know that. But how?” he fired another question…
After answering the question, I started thinking how it’s possible that man from Sofia doesn’t know that his city is the host of the great volleyball happening and even doesn’t know that his national team is playing in semis…
But, be sure that today in Armeec Arena there will be 13.000 Bulgarians who are well aware that their nation is playing the semifinals of EuroVolley.
