Since mid-December, Celitāns hasn’t been playing for Woori due to injury. In the meantime, Korean team suffered several defeats and decided to terminate contract with the Latvian opposite.
Instead of him, Woori hired Aleksandr Buts from the Russian Division 2 club Lokomotiv-Izumrud Ekaterinburg.
New opposite already made his debut with 30 points (game-high) in the win over Kepco Vixtorm and helped Woori ending the 10-game losing streak.
In only three days, Buts was once again the best scorer of his team with 34 points, but Woori lost to KB Insurance Stars VC (Slovakian Martin Nemec had 24) by 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-23), today.
