JPN: Level II coaches’ course in Japan a success

Coaches from five countries took part in a course held at the Japanese Volleyball Association’s National Training Centre in Tokyo starting August 9. The Level II seminar followed a rigourous schedule that saw many students studying well into the night after dinner.

The 25 participants came from Japan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Hong Kong and Korea for high-level instruction from course leaders Adachi Tatsuya of Japan and Zhao Shanwen of China. The instructors were aided in their demonstrations by the Odawara High School team, Osaka Elementary School and the Nippon Physical Education University.

The Participant list included the Japanese V league 1st division men’s coach, Mr Nambu, Japanese elementary top coach, Mr. Jo, several top Japanese university coaches, and four coaches from the Hong Kong national team.

Both Adachi and Zhao have expressed their satisfaction with the course.
