For Dutch St. Maarten it was heartbreaking loss especially when they gave a good account of themselves in set #1 and was very close to winning in set # 2.
Coach Raymond Jacobs of Dutch St. Maarten gave his account. “We got them where we wanted them and at that point did not capitalize and did not finish plain and simple as that. Apart from that I am somewhat pleased with the effort with the exception of the third set where it seems the guys simply laid back. However I have taken away a lot of positives from this loss”, he said.
Antigua and Barbuda next plays French St. Martin while Dutch St. Maarten tangles with Anguilla.
