She was the most deserving player for China’s gold, as she was destroying the opponents with her powerful spikes. In the semifinals, Zhu had 33 points, while in the final against Serbia, the new player of Vakifbank ended game with 25 points.

So, Lang Ping’s volleyball student took the MVP award. Below in the picture are the Dream Team chosen by FIVB volleyball. In the next week, you will have an opportunity to take part in our Dream Team poll.

Opinion of volleyball fan on OG:
1. FIVB management – generally plus. Too demanding/tight program for NTs during year – minus.
2. Cancellation of technical time-outs – plus
3. Technical progress – plus
4. Color combination ball – big minus . It functions like a rotated, disappearing color wheel
5. Referees – generally plus
6. IOC – generally plus, except TV rights – minus . They sold the soul and history of this OG- Modern OG should be on You Tube
7. Sport quality – Men – minus – they seemed very tired. Majority of men teams – absence of young players. Women – 4 best teams – plus – much younger then men NTs
8. Coaches – plus, the best impression – Lang Ping
9. Players – Men – paradox- the oldest, the best… Youngest men – often a failure under stress. Young women – plus, the best a superb sagitarius – Ting Zhu .

Note:
1) First three NTs had played this year less matches in a comparison with a rest of participants. (One a host, two won World Cup last year). Thus this small group could avoid of a demanding qualification process(QP). Rest of NTs were therefore much more tired, exhausted – physically and psychologically. Consequence of that, they were not able to surprise the first group on OG.
2) In women competition it was almost same – only one exception – USA instead of Brazil.
3) That means that medal winners from OG were not only best teams now, but also their QP was much more simple and could save the energy and strenght.
