Ms Flanagan has commenced her duties on Monday September 3.

She fills a vacancy created by the recent resignation of Ms Joan Perry who has returned to the USA for personal reasons.

Mr Schacht said “the AVF is delighted that Ms Flanagan has accepted the position of AVF CEO. She brings to the position over two decades of sports administration experience.” He added, “the AVF was pleased that it received so many high quality applications for the position.
